We've had the same thing happen on my local. Someone out there with too much time on their hands picks a poster or two and (assumingly) F5's the crap out of their posts to make it look like they have ridiculous amounts of views. No clue why they do it...

This is so much funnier than 1 starring, because it takes much more effort on the part of the scorned individual. I hope all of these views increase your self consciousness and make you feel badly about yourself, Buddha.
I doubt it is an F5 crazed maniac.
A more likely explanation is that somebody's employer is using webtracking software that may be doing something to jack up the views. The sitemaster at another message board I read made a comment about something like this happening.
