Need a new job.. psychology undergrad
Long story short, I need a new job. I graduated in 05' with bachelor in psychology. I have worked the last 5 years with children as basically traveling pe teacher with office assistance experience and manager experience. Its a family run business. Anyway, I need out! I could see myself as a pe teacher at a public school, but of course I dont have the required va certification. I don't have to stay with children... Any ideas? Do I really have to go get my grad. degree to do anything useful with psychology like be a counselor? I don't really know what kind of answers I am looking for, I guess i am just doing some venting....Thanks!
Re: Need a new job.. psychology undergrad
This isnt going to be helpful, but I have my undergrad in psyc, I was working in insurance until I went to grad school, because I couldnt find any jobs I wanted to do that needed a bach in psyc (and that paid any money that was worth it).
So I went to grad school for counseling.
Good luck!
I changed my name
This is basically just going to echo PP's, but if you want to do something in the Psychology field, you need more than just a bachelors.
I'm in the same situation and decided to get an alternative certification for teaching.
