people who wait until the last possible second to merge when they know that their lane is ending and then get all butt-hurt when I choose to be a b!tch and not let them over. Dude, you could have gotten over a long time ago, but you felt the need to fly past everyone who had already merged. Suck it.
You go... what do you hate right now?
Re: I hate...
I like having the company, but DH hates the way I shop so I'd rather just do it alone. He gets so annoyed because I tend to forget things then have to go back across the store and he feels like he's just following me around.
lol I always forget things too, usually I'd just make brandon continue shopping and I'd run back for it so we both don't have to drag the cart all over the store
I hate that I still have 8 days at my current job and those who I am trying to train to take my place are complete idiots. It makes it hard and the manager is here today so I am having to answer every single ridiculous question they ask me politely with a smile. I just wish some people knew how to take initiative and not have to ask about every little thing. OK rant is over
HH likes to go grocery shopping with me. We always go together unless I need him to pick something up really quick on his way home. And we go up and down every aisle, I dont think he minds too much lol
I hate administrators who bend and break the rules for themselves and their friends, and then make their teachers live with it. The ratio in my room is suppose to be 20. They gave me 21 students. I have 20 cots, 20 seats, 20 everything.
The extra child is the son of the superintendents secretary. Awesome. There are spots open in other schools and in the Pre-K 3 class in my school, but he HAD to be in my Pre-K 4 room. Oh, and so far he hasn't been following directions AT ALL.
They kicked another sweet little boy out of my room into a worse school to make room for his mom. I'm super pissed.
Megan, why do you have cots in your room? Do your students take naps?
Right now my hate is that Dave and I went to the gym tonight, and I got roped into doing the hour long session with a personal trainer that you get for free when you sign up. My appt is on Saturday. This is not something I would EVER do (because my BIL is a pro personal trainer, he trains players in the NHL, plus Dave is a freaking gym rockstar plus I used to be a gym rockstar, so I know what I'm doing and what I need to do to get back in shape). And they're just going to try to get me to sign up for training sessions and it's going to be sooo frustrating because I hate when people tell me I'm a big fatty and then try to get me to pay for their help when I don't need it.
Second hate. We had to rush home from the gym because Dave had a conference call at 8. No time for dinner, so we picked up some sushi. Since that wasn't going to be enough to really fill us both, I ran to the grocery store and bought stuff to make nachos too. So we ate the sushi, but he had to do his call, and he is STILL ON IT. And I'm still starving and really want to make the nachos but I have to wait for him because I have no idea how much longer he's going to be locked up in our office.
Yeah, in our district the Pre-K kids nap for about 45 minutes to an hour... it's nice to have the extra time to plan
Whaaaaaaaaat??? Does that actually work? I can't picture any of my students from last year napping.
Actually, that's not true. I can see a few of them napping. The rest of them...helllls no. And then I'd have to police the kids who weren't napping and were instead trying to instigate the ones who were.
i hate this too!
I hate my job.
And people on the access roads that don't yield when you are exiting the highway/expressway/tollway. They absolutely pay NO attention at all! At least not in Dallas.
And as far as grocery shopping goes, we shop per meal. We don't ever just grocery shop. Unless its a box of cereal here and there. It kind of works out bc then there's not a bunch of crap in the house for me to eat when I'm bored. And Kevin doesn't mind going with me. Sometimes I MAKE him go with me though.
And we took naps in Kindergarten! I went to K in Georgia though and we went for a full day. When I moved back to Texas in 1st grade I saw that the kindergarten classes were only a half day (am or pm). I was upset because I felt gypped! Hahaha!
I didn't actually "do" kindergarten myself, because I skipped it and went straight to grade one. I could already read and write (both parents are teachers)
The kids I taught last year had a full day, 9-3, with an hour and 20 minutes for lunch. Monday to Friday. No naps.
I taught at a "walking school". (As opposed to a "bussed" school). Walking schools have long lunches because the kids are presumed to go home for lunch, and need time to get there and back. Bussed schools have the shorter 25-30 minute lunches because all the kids stay.
I looooved the long lunch because I had so much time to do planning and photocopying, or setting up for major afternoon activities, or even to go shopping (huge mall like two blocks away). I miss my school

I always refuse to let people over that wait until the last second to merge. I hate that!
As far as grocery shopping goes, I love to go by myself. Taking Dan is like taking a little kid. He's always asking if he can get stuff and disappearing while I'm shopping. I always forget stuff when he goes along because he's all over the place.
