My younger cousin asked me this and I was stumped. I guess its been so long since the first time I used a tampon and the first time I had sex that I couldn't wrap my brain around this. Is losing your virginity less painful if you frequently use tampons? Does using tampons "stretch" you out at all or anything that would make a difference? I would assume so... but I don't really know!
Re: tampons & virginity
Think about the general size difference...a tampon isn't going to stretch you out.
srgw, were you trying different sizes of Tampax brand? Those things really do hurt.
Whatever Costco sold until college and then it was across the board in college and after.
Well...I had used tampons for a few years before I lost my virginity. Though it doesn't say much for the guy I lost it to, losing my virginity didn't hurt at all. My DH on the other hand...he's got much more going on then my ex did. Sex with DH, even after a couple years, can still hurt. Tampons won't have any affect.
Also, I agree with PP...pray she never has to be with someone the size of a tampon.
