Hi! Does anyone have any daycare recs for BR? My son is currently 5 months old, and I'm looking to get him into daycare in January, when he's 9 months. I work at LSU, so a place close to work would be ideal. I'm on the waiting list at the LSU Daycare, (have been since before DS was born), but am not holding my breath we'll get in there anytime soon. We can get into Kindercare, but it's soo expensive (nearly $900 a month!), and so I'm looking for something closer to $600 - $700 a month. Any help / advice you can give would be highly appreciated. TIA!
Re: BR Daycare Recs
I work for LSU too. :-)
a coworker sends her daughter to the University Presbyterian daycare over on Dalrymple/State Street. I hear that is a good one.
I didnt even try the LSU center for my children, but i find it extremely over priced and they charge by your income, so the more income you have, the more you pay.
Seriously? Can they even do that?
it looks like they must have changed it. but when i looked into it back in 06, it showed income brackets and rates for those brackets.
this is what it says now:

Am I the only person who doesn't see a difference between the $615 & $715 rate descriptions?
I'd have seriously laughed if a daycare would have told me that my rate was based on my income. Pretentious much?
We'll be in town over October 15th weekend. I know ya'll have a show that is in tech, but we'll make sure we get together. The boys can stare at one another. :-)
