How do you store your handbags?
I currently keep all of my handbags and totes in my spare bedroom closet, but now that we have a baby on the way, I need to clear out that closet and find a new home for my bags. Problem is, my master bedroom closet is pretty full (I wish I had a walk-in!). I guess if I found some sort of organizing unit for the floor or top shelf of the closet, that might work. Or even under the bed storage.
Any ideas? TIA!
Re: How do you store your handbags?
I recently spotted this and thought it was pretty cool

I use an under the bed storage container on wheels. Wheels=lot less of a pain pulling out! The top hinges in the middle of mine so it can be opened from either side of the bed easily. Being clear helps see what you are hunting for. Keeps dust out and them protected. A friend of mine hangs her purses on hooks attached to a thick fabric strip hanging on her closet door. Another uses those shoe cubicles for purses instead.
Hope one of these ideas was helpful!
Thanks for posting this question... I have been trying to figure out how to store mine but never seem to see something that I like or that might work... but from the suggestions above I may have found something
I got something similar to this (sorry, can't post a clicky link b/c I have a Mac and don't know how, LOL): http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?sku=15846470&
Except mine was from The Container Store and is cuter (white with fun, bright flowers). Similar concept, though.
The only bad thing about it is it's not really conducive to storing handbags/purses without straps...I like the Real Simple one better, but of course that came out AFTER I had already bought mine.
