Birthday dinner suggestions
So, my MIL is coming down to visit next weekend and it's typical to go out to dinner with everyone for the birthday. It's usually a fancier type of dinner, but I'm not sure what to do this year. She wants Freddie (5months old now!) to come along, but evenings are never a good 'baby' time and I could never bring him along to a fancy dinner. I suggested brunch instead, but even so. Can any other mom's (or anyone!)recommend a good place (city or brooklyn) for a nice bday dinner that would include the baby?

Cafeteria is good, but better to go early becasue it gets really crowded. I've heard Flatbush farms is great, and we really like that place on fifth, I think it is Market Table, or something like that.
the place on fifth is called "get fresh" and it's amazing. (5th ave and 5th st). i'd also second a vote for flatbush farm, and would like to add applewood, which is on 11th street just above 7th ave. you definitely need reservations there, though, so call ahead! trust me, it is worth it.
