As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just got electricity
Last night, my husband left to go to his friend's birthday party. We decided I could take a break from social occasions with his friends since they don't speak English and don't want to speak Spanish slowly with me and I get bored. I was going to stay home, watch TV and clean house. However, he called me at a little after 5 saying there was a huge storm. 10 minutes later the electricity went off and I couldn't even get a cell signal. I had the news in the background and I didn't hear any special alert. The storm cam e in 5 minutes and left in 5 minutes. So, I was bored anyway. lol. I went outside to walk around and a tree landed on a car 3 cars back. How lucky was I? A tree-lined is supposed to be a plus to the neighborhood. The picture is from a teacher that lives in the area to show you how the trees came up. We didn't have electricity for 27 hours. I finally gave in and took a cold shower and the electricity came on 15 minutes later. If I only waited 15 more minutes.
