Open Letter to the people who robbed me....
Dear a$$ole heroin addicts,
Thank you so much for picking us as the lucky house for you to break into and rob. You have now made an already paranoid person ever more paranoid (didn't think that was possible) to the point that I can not even sleep at night now or feel comfortable/safe in my own house (especially when my DH is OOT for work and I'm all by myself).
I also want to thank you for stealing our flat screen TV b/c now we have a little 15 inch TV to watch, which is so much better than 48 inches. I love the fact that it could take up to a year to get our TV back b/c of you since it's evidence. Also, thank you for scaring the $hit out of my dog (literally) and leaving my front door wide open, not that she already wasn't scared b/c she was abused before I got her and you really helped with that too. Hope everything goes well for you in court and that you can get some serious help with your drug problem.
Sincerely,
Me

love you. big hugs coming from texas to you!
Lisa : (. lots of Hugs. I wish there was something I could do for you....
For the sleeping factor, I would try taking melatonin. It's over the counter, and basicaly helps you fall asleep.
Hang in there.
that really really sucks Lisa! I cannot even imagine what it feels like to not feel safe in your home anymore!
I'm so sorry! Lots of hugs!!

*edit* computer posted 2x, sorry.
Our Wedding Day 8/7/10
so sorry lisa, I'd be in the same boat as you.scared.to.death.
One time we must not have closed our front door all the way and the wind blew it open while we were out, I came home entering through the garage (garage door open and closed before I enter the house) I walked in and immediately saw the door. I panicked. what if someone was in the house, now they just heard the garage door. So I tried calling DH, who was playing poker, and thought it would be nice to ignore my calls. I had to text him that the front door was wide open to get him to call me back. i was livid. (that's another story for another day!) I was so scared that I almost called the cops, i made DH come home and I just stood where I was the whole time.
I cant even imagine how I would have reacted if someone was really in the house, and or robbed us. Big hugs to you. I'm always up late if you ever need to vent.
ugh! i am so sorry you are dealing with this. i hope over time it will get better. that sucks that they have to keep your TV as evidence! hope you get it soon. at least you will get it back in the end though.
poor puppy too. i hope she starts to feel better too.
Lisa, Sending hugs your way! I can relate as our house was robbed in April. They broke the bedroom window and then ran out the front door leaving it open too. They havent been caught, but we think they were kids since they only took small things(camera, and videocamera). As far as we know, they werent caught.
I know how you feel, and I am also paranoid and it didnt help at all. Im really sorry that happened to you!
