So I do a lot of scrapbooking stuff and I hear a lot of people talk about circuit cutters... I've looked around and they seem so expensive! What exactly do they do and how worth it are they? Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm thinking about setting money back to get me one, but they're so expensive. If it's worth it though, I won't mind spending a little extra instead of just getting a super cheap one.
TIA!
Re: Circuit Cutters
Watch QVC or HSN. They usually have great deals on the Cricut Expression (the largest one) I have one and love it. I make cards on it, etch glasses *using the vinyl you cut with it to make a stencil* I make tons of things. The possibilities are endless with it. I highly rec. it if you do a lot of scrapbooking. It's super handy. Don't let the catridges throw you off there's ways around not having ot buy them and being able to cut out whatever image you want. I have the SCAL *Sure Cuts A Lot* program and I've never bought the 1st cart.
HSN usually has the machine, 3 carts., a roll of vinyl, etching cream, the little tools to remove paper, and the 24x24 mat for about 199.00 with free shipping. HTH
Okay, so I've been looking and let me know...is this a good deal? I'll be working overtime at work to save up for it, so it won't be coming out of our budget or anything like that so I am willing to spend the extra bucks... But this one looks really good and prints up to 23". Since I got married and moved most of my crafts have been boxed up and I'm finally getting them out and organized and I want to get back into my scrapbooking and stuff and I feel like this will be a good thing for me...I need my hobby back!

I feel so selfish for considering such a purchase, but I really want one and I'm working extra to buy it, so... Hey, I'm working extra to get us a new mattress set too so I don't feel as bad... ;>
