This is what happens to your life when you get married
So I just spent the last 3 hours doing homework for grad school. 3 hours. On a Saturday night. I'm such a loser. When I was an undergrad several years ago, I went out all the time. Now I'm spending my Saturday doing homework while DH watches football. But I just finished, so maybe I'll crack open a beer or bottle of wine and join in the fun!!

Re: This is what happens to your life when you get married
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
Isn't half the point of getting married so that you DON'T have to go out anymore and have a good excuse for sitting around watching tv on a Saturday night?! ;-) Now you can refer to it as "family time"!
I wish we had that down time! It seems that we've got enough "extracurricular" activities and family/friend commitments that we've barely got a free night.
And I wish my graduate homework only took me 3 hours! I feel like I'm constantly on the computer, hiding from my hubby in the spare room. It totally sucks, but I know it's only for two years. Then we can sit around and do nothing together.
