I've invented my own margarita
2 parts white tequila, 1 part triple sec, quick pour of water (or let your ice melt a little), then juice the shiit out of a lime (if you don't have a good juicing tool, use 2 limes), then add a touch of agave sweetener to taste (sugar would work if you don't have that).
Yum-o. Imbibe with caution.
Re: I've invented my own margarita
I give this post my seal of approval
The only margarita I've ever made myself involves margarita mix and tequila. Yours sounds yum.
There is a Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant near here that has a key lime margarita that is to die for. They make it with ice cream mix and it is SO GOOD.
and I have invented my own sangria
1 bottle of light, dry white wine
1 bottle of dry sparkling, cava is good and not expensive
1/2 bottle of Limoncello
2 lemons sliced round.
Mix in a pitcher and add ice about 5 minutes before serving.
fabulously serves about 12 glasses (freezing the glasses first is nice also)
