weekend updates

Re: weekend updates

  • my weekend was really good,

Friday- Dave and I went to dinner at TIG Fridays and just hung out

Saturday- Dave had a bachelor party in Altantic City so I spent with day with my SIL. We went outlet shopping and to Champs for dinner and then saw Easy A. It was a cute movie. Then she slept over.

Sunday- we laid on the couch and watched football and i did a ton of laundry.

  • My weekend was alright.  Took the cats to the vet on Saturday and did a few other things.  Watched the football game. (yay Noles!), but I didn't get as much done homework wise as I would've wanted, so we didn't go to the museum on Sunday.  Oh well.
  • I had a great weekend.  We finally used the tickets I bought for Dave last Christmas, to the football hall of fame and rock and roll hall of fame.

We did a lot while we were in Cleveland (just the football hall of fame in Canton) and it's funny.  I didn't realize Dave has never been there and he's been very biased against Cleveland, mostly because of his hatred for the Browns.  But when we left he said he was surprised, it's a nice city!

We went to the Football Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Brewery, Winking Lizard, some other bar/restaurant on E. 4th Street, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the house from The Christmas Story, a random arts festival, Coventry Street, a Slovenian Restaurant, back to the Winking Lizard (so MANY beer choices), and the Chocolate Bar.

By the time we got home, we were ready for a good night's sleep!

  • Not quite what I expected.

Friday - DH decided he was too sore from the accident to stay at his parents for dinner. I left work early to take him home because he just wanted to relax on the couch. We ended up just hanging out and watching TV which was nice.

Saturday - Didn't do a whole lot during the day. A little cleaning and some grocery shopping. Saturday night we had a BBQ for Steve's birthday. It wasn't a huge ordeal, but we had the neighbors over and some of our friends.

Sunday - I got a call Sat. night from my dad to tell me my cousins husband had killed himself (they've been separated, and he apparently was unable to cope with that and some other issues....the details are sketchy right now since we're not sure how he did it...) I went down to see my aunt/uncle/cousin Sunday during the day.

  • We did some prepping/planning for our trip back to IL. Cleaned a little. Took Daisy to get her food, watched my alma mater get beat in football and played quite a bit of Call of Duty online for Wii. We did a little shopping for some necessary things for my BM appearance in my friend's wedding. Oh, and I got my flu shot.

It was a laid back weekend.
  • Not to much it was so NICE!

Friday: I was home alone with the flu gross... But I got to catch up on some Movie's I've been miss out on!

Saturday Went to Meet Kevin and Collin at my IL's did some running around and then Kevin and I went and saw a movie  and to Dinner we haven't done that in FOREVER!

Sunday: I came home early from my IL's so I could clean and disinfect the house and KEvin stayed and watch the Pakcers. Then we just relaxed around the house

  • It went by way too fast!

It was nice to get away on Thur & Friday.

I finished decorating the spare bedroom on Saturday.  Cleaned the house, went grocery shopping, laundry etc.

Sunday we had a memorial service to go to, made 2 large pots of soup, went shopping with my friend and crashed early.

  • Friday I sat around and did nothing which was so nice.

Saturday me and Tuck went to eat lunch with my grandma and then went to Hobby Lobby to get some fall decorations. That night we went to my grandfathers 80th b-day party.

Sunday I cleaned and packed away a bunch of toys and clothes that Tuck has outgrown and then had dinner at my moms.

  • Friday-I explored the stores in our new area and bought some things for the new house. I unpacked some then picked DH up from work. After that, we ran some more errands (spent a ton of money at Lowes, boo) and had dinner at Sizzler (DH loves that place and I was starving, don't judge me, lol).

Saturday-We drove the dogs back to Sacramento and packed any remaining items we needed from our house. We helped SIL get settled into our Sac house then headed out to get DH's car smogged and hit Ikea. We bought a dining room set and Natalie's dresser. Went to dinner at the IL's house that night.

Sunday-Packed up the trailer and headed back to Pacifica. Our friend's and DH unloaded everything while I directed. I had to take it easy since I was really over doing it these past few days. I picked up a sinus infection on Friday and have also been struggling all weekend with it. DH set up Natalie's crib and my glider and I watched and took pictures.

The rest of the week I'm going to finish unpacking and start working on Natalie's nursery.

  • I've been taking it easy since my surgery on Thursday. (I deleted the post already, I'm too embarrassed to keep it up.) Eating lots of soup, salads and extra veggies...fibering it up as you would say. It's been rather difficult to go to the bathroom still, but I love warm baths. They help so much with the pain.

Sat/Sun - I met up with Cassie, Aaron and Kaitlyn. She's the happiest baby ever, oh so adorable. We did our grocery shopping, and then we went to our aunt and uncle's house. Eric spent most of the weekend working on installing their tv on their fireplace. I got to relax and lounge around. It was nice because our aunt cooked for us on Sat/Sun. I didn't have to worry about cooking and focus on relaxing.

Today - I wasn't feeling 100% still so I'm still home lounging around. Took another bath already and I'm about to watch some movies on the couch. ;-)
