Pup went to the vet today
Monty has a mast cell tumor on his muzzle near his nose. Started coming about probably 2 wks ago; I didn't know what it was, thought it was an insect sting so let it go for a few days. Didn't go away, so I got him into the vet and that's what they said it was. Very common in dogs
So they could get him in Wed to remove it and test to see if it is something to be worried about. I haven't called the vet back to schedule b/c I want to discuss w/DH. His ins. offers pet ins, but I'm not sure if it would cover it b/c it would be something pre-existing, I don't know. But it would help lots since the vet could do a teeth cleaning and even remove his back dewclaws at the same time since Monty would be under anesthesia already.
