If you have a house built in the last 5 years.....

And if your house is around or under 1500 sq feet.... Approximatley how much are your utilities every month?

Re: If you have a house built in the last 5 years.....

  • We are on average...  OGE 110  ONG 70 OKC (not on average) 63.00 last month, we water the yard quite a bit.
  • Mine is over 1500 sq ft (by about 25%), but ONG and OGE usually add up to about $250/mo.

Obviously electric is higher in the summer and gas is higher in the winter, but the majority of the year, you can count on them adding up to about that total.  It's a little less in the months you don't end up running either AC or heater, which obviously isn't many months in OK.

  • Our house is a little over 1400 SF. My last ONG bill was around $20. Last OG&E was around $80. OKC utililities have been around $50 or so.

  • We are in Tulsa and right at 1500.  Our Gas and electric usually add up to $100 except for about 2-3 months during extreme weather when it is around $150

Wow, $100 for gas and electric for the month... I want that!

  • Late to the party, but in the summer total cost of gas/water/electric is about $250/month. During the winter it's closer to $150.
