Yay/Boo

Put some here.

Boo: It's Monday and cold and rainy here. We didn't get any lovely autumn weather here this year. It went from summer straight to crappy assness.

Yay:  We are going out for dinner with some friends tonight, and I am eating steak dammit.

Boo: I have been having some killer insomnia lately. 3-4 hours of sleep sucks when you are trying to be all chipper and efficient at your new job.

YAYx10: Guess who I am meeting this weekend? Batlet! And guess who else I'm meeting? Batlet's baby! EEP.

Re: Yay/Boo

  • Batlet had a baby?

  • Yaaaaay: I have red velvet cupcakes and got to see my family yesterday

Booooo: I have hives/a rash from their dog. Some doggies' slobber makes me break out in itchiness and it sucks. I love the doggies! Why do they have to make me so itchy?

  • Only some dog's slobber makes you break out? Have you found a pattern or is it just random? That would be frustrating.

Yup Bethie, pretty recently I think. I'm pretty sure he's only a couple months old.

  • Yay!:  I had a great weekend, and feel refreshed for this week!

Boo!:  I'm not at the beach today.

    Yay!:  It's gorgeous out!

  • Boo: my BFFs are at Oktoberfest this week. I hate them so much right now.

Seems like mostly bigger dogs. So far it has happened with great danes, bernese mountain dogs, and this doggie, a greater swiss mountain dog.

  • That stinks.  I love big dogs. Only yappy, ankle biters for you, missy.
  • Yay: I only have 3 kiddos today and 2 are sleeping soundly through quiet time.

Boo: the third kid is pinching, scratching, and kicking me. And laughing at me. Had me on the verge of tears a little while ago
  • Whatever happened to Batlet?  I remember liking her.

Yay:  the weather's awesome today and supposed to be the same all week.

Boo:  I opened my lunch today (a frozen meal) and it was MOLDY.  DUDE.

Yay:  I found a pair of shoes that I love love love and which would go perfectly with the dress I'm wearing for my mom's wedding in 2 weeks.

Boo:  They are another one of those $500 pairs and I absolutely will not be buying them (unless I have a sudden windfall of cash this week)

  • Yay! I got a massage, went apple picking and had a Potterthon this weekend. I am loving fall and the lovely weather it is bringing.

Boo! I think my morning sickness is coming back.

Yay! Linus is happy, not leaking and cone free.

Boo! I still have not won Powerball.

For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
  • Yay:  I'm going to leave early today to put Monday out of its misery.

Boo:  I made what I thought was a funny comment on a FB friend's picture this weekend, only to later learn it was actually considered an insensitive comment about her autistic son.

  • Yay: I love fall when it finally comes.

Boo: It is 98 today. I'm ready for fall, dammit.

Yay: I ate lots of yummy cake this weekend.

Boo: I'm now out of cake.

  • Yay! Lorne's grandma sent us home with some cheesecake. It shall be my lunch come naptime.

Boo! Evie is congested and sick and I have to watch for signs of whooping cough because of the ridiculous number of cases in CA. Thanks for making me paranoid and nervous about a disease that should be almost non-existent, anti-vaxxers.

  • Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had to check 670 windows after they were installed in public housing apartments.  This has taken weeks and I've been in some pretty naaaaaaasty apartments and met some....interesting folks.  It is FINALLY done.  FINALLY.  YAY!

Boo:  I was home for about one hour this weekend.  I think my dogs forgot who I am.

Yay:  I made it into a wicked awesome huge choir and I love everyone in it.  Lots of new music geek friends makes me happy.  :-)

Boo:  My face looks like the Gulf today - oil everywhere  Grody.

  • Yay!  I still have cupcakes.  I had with my lunch and I'm going to have another one for dinner.

Boo.  There was a wreck on the bridge I take over the Mississippi River this morning that turned my usually 40 minute drive into two hours.  I will probably spend a grand total of 3.5-4 in the car today.

Yay!   The end of September is in sight and I'm starting to believe I'll actually finish my projects that were all magically due at the end of September.  I have no idea what I'll do when mid-October comes and I'm not running around screaming like an idiot.

Boo.  I just ate some light ruffles that have been on my desk for a few weeks.  I'm pretty sure something was really wrong with them.  Rancid oil, maybe.

  • Yay: it's meatball sub night!

Boo: Maggie tripped and whacked her face on a stool. She had a little bloody nose and now has a fat upper lip. It's right pitiful.

Yay: Owen is thisclose to crawling. It's terribly exciting.

    image Ready to rumble.
  • Yay: I got to take a nap

Boo: E has sniffles that woke him up from his nap WAY too soon.  I put him in my bed & he fell back asleep but now I'm trapped here. Awake.

  • Boo: I still have a sinus infection that has my head in a vice.

Yay: I'm about to use my new toy to make quesidillas for lunch!

  • Yay, I'm alive

Boo:  My new boss is a fricken disorganized mess.
