New 'Toys'

DH and I got to do some fun shopping this weekend as we went to visit my sister. I had some registry items I wanted to purchase with gift cards and then there were a few little things we wanted to look for. I think it's really cute when DH gets really excited about little kitchen gadgets as much as I do!

His favorite for the weekend was a microwave breakfast sandwich maker because we LOVE eating breakfast sandwiches but normally scramble the eggs on the stove and it takes a little while. Well now he can have one in a few simple minutes and is thrilled! It's too cute!

Haha! I had a blast going out for my mini gift card shopping spree. DH didn't want to come with me, but when I got home and he helped me unpack everything he got excited about the things I picked out! It was super cute!

The other funny one was we had ordered our dishes we wanted from Kohls - well the salad plates we couldn't order online anymore but they still showed up so we stopped at a Kohls this weekend to see if we could find some (luckily we found the 3 sets we wanted) but we also saw these other plates and I was like hmm do we need these? DH said he definitely thought they would be a good idea! I love when he gets excited and has an input about things like dishes!

Fun! My H loves to go pick out kitchen things - it is super cute

We still haven't started using gift cards yet. I'm so excited to go get the things we want that are left on our registry, but also excited because we got a gift card to Williams Sonoma - we didn't register there so we just get to pick something out- fun!

Funny, I just busted out a mini-whisk from our shower gifts, I love it!

All the other items are pretty much stored.

So I have to admit, when I saw the topic of this post I wasn't thinking kitchen toys...I think my mind is in the gutter, maybe after reading the "Sexy Texts" post. haha

I agree with you Swiss, I wasn't thinking kitchen gadgets either

, but I will say that hubby and I already did our shopping with our gift cards and I thiink I wore him out that day. I'm waiting on him to put together the portable bar we purchased.

But I think he enjoyed spending the day with me shopping.
