Is anyone in your family famous? I'm distantly related to the Bush family. I've got a cousin in Nashville and a cousin who does a lot of Broadway plays. But, nothing too famous.

We do ours ourself, and he also puts up lights for other people... I can't believe I am already thinking about how many supplies to buy this year and getting his insurance renewed pretty dang quick.

Chicken and dumplings, I ordered some this weekend, homemade = much better. I will probably make a big batch next week.

What's for dinner? Probably this meatball and rice thing my sister makes for her husband--she says it's good.

Do you hang Christmas lights yourself, or hire them done? (If you do them at all) We hang them ourselves, but if we decide to line the roof this year, we'll probably hire it done. Apparently our neighbors get insane over Christmas lights/decor.

Charity you contribute to/would like to see people contribute to: Compassion International, Hands and Feet Project, Habitat for Humanity, Mercy Ministries, Teen Challenge...we currently don't contribute to any charities (except donating clothes to good will and helping with a couple events for some charities in the past) but these are some that I would like to look into soon.

Is anyone in your family famous? This person isn't super famous. DH's cousin is married to Charlie Hall. If you listen to christian music you might have heard of him. Or you might sing some of his songs in church (Chasing, Marvelous Light). He's also part of the Passion tour.

Charity you contribute to/would like to see people contribute to: We contribute to March of Dimes since they saved DH's life when he was born. I want also start contributing to any cancer charities since my grandmother is a survivor and so is FIL.

Charity you contribute to/would like to see people contribute to: Inter-faith Hospitality Network/Family Promise. It's a neat organization that is in Shawnee where churches or other religious organizations take turns housing homeless families...while in the 'program' the adults get help getting a job/ learning how to apply for a job or get training in making a budget...save up for an apartment etc. It's had a lot of success and I'm a little partial to it, my mom helped get it started!

Well...I was going to have D grill some brats for dinner and I was going to roast some potatoes and make a salad, but it is 20 til 6 out here in Cali, and D is still not home. And won't be home until after I leave for work...boo. So I jsut made myself a sandwich.
