Mine was good.
Friday I spent watching "I didnt know I was pregnant" for about 4 hours straight. Now Im addicted. Saturday I watched more of that show til about 1pm then got ready for my TS party that night. It went well. The host thought there were only going to be 4 people and there were 7. It was fun. This lady brought her husband and he was hitting on me.... creepo! Sunday we went WAY up north (by Northern University- 2 hour drive) to see my best friends new apartment. It. was. gorgeous! I also had provided most of the food and she turned it into a book party. Score! 3 orders from that.
DH already hates working so far. I told him its only for 1.5 months- suck it up! Im so loving, right? .
School is going good. Lots of homework and reading. Just very time consuming right now.
Re: How was everyones weekend?
I had a pretty productive weekend.
On Saturday, my MIL threw me a shower with DH?s family which was really nice. It was outside and the weather could not have been better, I got to hang out with all Kevin?s friends? wives who I really like, and everyone brought their kids, which was so much fun. I got a lot of lovely gifts, including a crib and mattress from MIL. On the way home (about an hour drive), I stopped at BJs and picked up some things, plus a package of thank yous to work on those. I vacuumed when I got home (so I wasn?t putting the gifts on the rug with all the cat hair or crumbs or anything that may be there), then brought all my stuff in and sorted the gifts into ?Keep,? ?Maybe Keep (depending if you are a boy or a girl)? and ?Return.? I went through all the cards and sorted out the gift receipts to hang on to, the cards to save, the envelopes and bags to thrown away. Then I wrote all my thank yous and also did 2 loads of laundry. Shazam!
Sunday I addressed and stamped all my thank you notes and my parents came up and helped with some things in the house, including painting the kitchen (which was formerly about 7 different colors because we?ve been tearing it apart and trying different paint colors). So now the kitchen is all one color and I L.O.V.E. it. Also, my dad and I went to Babies R Us and picked up the crib from MIL, because she just paid for it and left it at the store for us to get.
Man, sorry for the book, but it I am so glad I got so much done. I am now writing a ?TO DO ? Before the baby comes? list that I can work on. I?m trying to get a lot of house stuff done because I know it will take a backseat once the baby gets here.
Our weekend was pretty uneventful.
Chris works on Saturday's now so I usually am free to do whatever. I went down to Tampa to the mall to get fitted for new running shoes- didn't get shoes, but it was a good experience getting fitted.
Saturday night we hung out @ the house, then went to a bar that is a mile from our house. That was, uhm, interesting.
Sunday we got up early & went for a run. Then vegged until around 6 when we went out to eat and then drove to this little water front park and walked around for a little bit and watched people fish. The weather is finally cooling off here at night & in the morning. During the day its still hot as hades =/
Friday I had the world's worst migraine all day long at work and then an hour commute in the lovely rush hour traffic. I got home at 6, threw up, and was asleep before 6:30p. I slept until 4:15am.
Saturday began with chicken noodle soup before 5am. I watched random TV movies before hubby woke up at 8. Then we got ready for the day, did a huge grocery shop and I organized the kitchen (rearranged the can cupboard so we could see all of the soups we have). and I cooked dinner and cleaned the kitchen while DH was at an alumni picnic for his fraternity.
We had dinner and a quiet night in.
Sunday we did housework, 6 loads of laundry and sorting through some things to throw away. I also went to the gym for an hour! (first time in a long time--gettin back on the weightloss wagon!)
It was a fun productive weekend once I felt good enough to enjoy it.
Good to hear updates from everybody! We went to a wedding on Saturday, and it was fun to see a lot of both of our college friends. Beautiful day too! Sunday we started chopping silage again, and we finally finished up last night. I also spent a lot of the weekend thinking about relaunching my blog - which I did. LIS - It's a wordpress blog now and I'm totally loving it.
