"Trash" the dress!
Anyone that gets my status' on their FB feed already knows this, but Paul and I had an awesome, fun, wet, trash the dress photoshoot today, with our photographer. The weather was amazing, we did it at four to six pm, the sun was perfect and we had a blast!
At first it was strange to be putting on my dress again - besides the fact that Paul was doing it up, and it didn't exactly tie up as nicely as it did a year ago. The car ride to the location was odd. When we got there, some people in the parking lot said congratulations to us - that was weird. But as soon as we starting shooting and posing, I remembered why we were doing it again, and I was really comfortable. We didn't get more than two photos of JUST Paul and I, at the wedding. We used up all the time on family, friends, bridal party group pictures, then we had to get inside for the reception to start (and it was 40 degrees C outside). We really needed a "do-over"; we needed to get a bunch of good pictures of just us, in our wedding attire. So after a ton of those, we climbed some trees and splashed in the Grand River. It was awesome. I'm stoked to get the pictures back in a week or so, and I can't wait to share them!

How exciting! I can't wait to see them.
I'm glad to hear it didn't seem weird once you started. I've thought about having a TTD shoot, but thought it might feel weird since it's been over a year since the actual date.
So much fun - I can't wait to see the pics. We felt the same when we did our TTD last month - a little odd at first, but then had a blast when we got into it.
