i have two interests: high falutin' Literature (its theory) and smut.
i HATE sophie kinsella, and that whole popular chick-lit mess, but i'll read the sh!t out of some nora roberts. i think she's a better writer than 95% of them. plus i have a soft spot for the woman who (mostly) paved the way for non-rape-y, non-virgin-bride romance.
part of my love for "romance" comes out of the fact that it's not pretending to be anything but good old fashioned smut.
