What's for dinner this week?
So far I've got:
chicken stroganoff
buffalo chicken bites
pulled pork
salsa chicken
I feel like we're really heavy on the chicken here, and I need more ideas...what have you girls got planned?
Re: What's for dinner this week?
Tonight I'm making chicken n' pepper pasta, but I'm not sure what we'll have the rest of the week. We didn't go to the store this weekend because we were so busy, but I want to stretch what we have until we get paid this Friday if possible. I hate having a fridge full of leftovers that don't get eaten, so we're going to be working on that.
No idea!!
I took out chicken for tonight.
Whatever doesn't make me want to vom.
I'm going out to dinner with friends tonight but I'm not sure what the rest of the week will hold in store...it's kind of hard for me to think about food in advance these days - mostly it's a what sounds good today kind of thing.
Although I may make a turkey / white bean chili this week now that it's a little cooler...perhaps a pasta / chicken sausage dish as well.

UGh we went shopping on sunday but it was so hard to pick out what we wanted.
Tonight I think since we are getting back into the swing of things its gonna be frozen pizza & salad
lasagna garlic bread & salad
fish n fries
hamburgers and a salad
friday we normally go out but i am thinking capriotti's its a sandwich shop here in vegas that I have never seen anywhere else that way we can stay home n veg...
No idea.
Tonight is Lipton noodle soup because DH has been texting me all morning that he feels like death.
I have no idea what's in our freezer for meat and I have been too lazy to go look. Total confession right there.
That is the BEST thing I've heard all day! You are so lucky!!!
Tonight: Chicken & Dumplings, Lima Beans, Corn on the Cob
Tues: Leftovers
Weds: No idea -- Eating alone because DH has a meeting
Thurs: Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread (having my family over)
Friday: Who knows. I think DH works that night.
I know! It's freaking awesome!
Matt works late tomorrow night, but I have the day off. I might make a casserole to create leftovers for later in the week, and I'd like to get a crock pot ready to go for Wednesday with chicken noodle and veggie soup.
I always feel so guilty when I see these threads because I usually have spent exactly zero seconds thinking about what we're eating for the rest of the week.
Don't feel bad. We usually decide what to have the night before, day of, or sometimes minutes before we start cooking. There is rarely advance planning.
I like it that way. How am I supposed to know on Sunday what I feel like eating on Thursday?
