Re: Katy Perry and Elmo
The nerve!

That's unusual for The Street.
I am looking forward to the new season, though not to Katy Perry.
I've decided to stop feeling guilty about letting my kid watch the boob tube. Some days we watch 1/2 hour before nap, some days 3 hours. Oh well. If someone wants to look down their nose at me about it, so be it.
Check your local PBS station. It's generally on at 10 AM most places though.
We have two PBS stations, so it's on at 7 and then it's on at 10.
I just played that for Alex and he wasn't interested in her rack in the slightest. He only had eyes for Elmo. Or, maybe he's being tricksy and he's using code words for boobage now.

I really love The Skreet.
I netflixed the Old School Sesame Street videos for M, starting with the very first episode, to help him learn English. It was prefaced by a short cartoon saying that it is intended for adults and may not be suitable for today's preschoolers. The show included a lot of dated styles, but no language that is no longer PC. It also included a short, very graphic, film on where milk comes from, which elaborated on both, manual and mechanical milking.
M doesn't like milk as it is, but after seeing it, he just felt bad for the cows.
2013 Calendars and More!
Um, yeah, I still know all the words to the milk milk video.
Milk, milk, milk, so good and fresh and warm....
I remember that milk one! Milk...MIIILK...MILK. dun dun dun dun dunnnn dun.
Also, "I'm a dog, I'm a working dog, I'm a hard working dog."
Zach isn't really interested in tv yet. Maybe I'll dvr some Street and see if he likes it.
