Terrible or Terrific Tuesday?
Mine's a little of both so far. I get to work from home again today, which is nice, but i am still fighting through some major homesickness. Autumn in New York is the most beautiful time of year, and I know my sis would come to visit lots to get away from the troubles at home for the weekend. Sigh. I hope it gets easier or we will be running back to Brooklyn in no time. I want to give SF a chance because it is really a lovely little city and we LOVE our apartment, but it just doesn't feel the same. OK, I'll stop whining now!

Re: Terrible or Terrific Tuesday?
Right now, I'm having a great day--work has been easy, no one has said anything offensive (so far), and DH's (belated) birthday gift arrives today and he is actually excited about it. That boy doesn't get excited about anything. Ever. So it makes me really happy that I can do something for him to make him that pleased.
However, if you were to ask me again at 6pm tonight, my answer will probably be different. Today is day 9 of my 30-day yoga challenge and I know tonight's class is not going to be pretty. I struggled hard yesterday and tonight's instructor is a bit of a drill sergeant...

I've had better Tuesdays. I'm counting on Glee and my puppy to bring it back up.
Do the leaves change color at all in San Fran?
Today is pretty terrific, thankfully.
1. Last night I got a package from my beauty public relations friend in NYC yesterday and it was full of wonderful baby products for Liam, which was such a sweet surprise!
2. Also last night I got DH to return the awful bassinet his parents bought us to Babies R Us and we got our car seat instead (much more useful). Tip: before spending more than $100 on a gift for someone else, make sure it is something they actually want!
3. I've been craving salads again! This is day 2 of wanting nothing but veggies...
4. I'm actually starting to be given some responsibility in my new position. Unfortunately, it is right before I'll be out for 3 months, but I'm trying to be a complete rock star with owning my project and keeping the person who will take over once I go in the loop so that my boss sees how well I manage tasks and can handle being in charge of things.
5. GLEE...need I say more? And dinner is already done in the crockpot so I just need to go home, eat, relax, and enjoy!

They do, but there aren't as many large trees lining the streets as in Bklyn. It also has not really been summer weather here yet (it tends to get warmer during Indian Summer/ Sept-Oct instead), so it doesn't really feel like it should be fall. I know. I'm just being a baby.
Have you had a chance to go to Muir Woods, up the coast from San Fran? If not, you need to go there, more trees than you can ever imagine! I bet it is beautiful in the fall.

I haven't yet, but we plan to soon. We are going to wine country this weekend to visit some friends who also just moved there, and another friend couple who is visiting them, so maybe the following weekend. There are lots of trees nearby, and I live 2.5 blocks from a really nice park, so i don't know what I'm complaining about!
NOT good...like getting pecked to death by ducks. You keep thinking that people will eventually get a clue and act like adults. Oh well...not today.
