In need of some vibes
Hi gals,
Sorry I've been MIA as of late. As many of you know, DH and I are both in our last year of finishing our BS degrees. However, I got a call that my grandfather (whom I am really close with and practically owe my life to- long story short my ma was married to an abusive man when she had me, and her, her family, and my grandpa had to stage a kidnapping to get me out of there and he literally on his hands and knees built a house for her and I) is very sick and we are simply able to keep him as comfortable as possible and say our good byes at this point.
It is so hard, because this is my last year of schooling, I had to take off to come to my hometown (6hrs away) with DH. DH had to head back up north Sunday and I'm not sure how long I'll be here. DH will come back when he can, but he had to be back for classes (PT- MCOLES- MI police academy training). Its such a stressful time to begin with and then to be away from him, and trying to keep up with school as best as possible is so HARD!
Any way, if any of you guys have any idea how to make this better or if you could just send some thoughts that he be comfortable and esp for my mom because this is even more horrible for her (her house is the landing spot for all out of towners, shes still got work, plus 2 young kids, and its her dad!)

Major vibes and good thoughts for you hun. :-( So sorry for you and your family. My grandpa passed a few years back due to ALS. I am always comforted by the fact that he knew how much he was loved by myself and my family. We didn't wait until he was gone to say the good/nice things.
It sounds like you've lived a lifetime letting him know of your love, and gratitude for him, and he feels that from you, and has that with him always.
