What I think a lot of these old bigots don't get is that the military has changed anyway. They wouldn't recognize the Lady Gaga lip syncing youth of today as the same military they served in. I love the "social experiment" argument. No, a social experiment would be trying to force 19 year olds in 2010 to have the same attitudes and opinions as their fathers.
