Slightly off-topic, but are you Watching Top Chef Just Desserts? Did you know the lady from Boston who got kicked off the first week? I was bummed for her.
Yes, I was also disappointed that Boston wasn't represented well. I like Top Chef and watch that religiously. However, several people in the opening of Just Desserts that I wanted to yell at to shut up for being so annoying. I hope that the next show is better, or the annoying ones get kicked off.
I can't believe that they don't have recipes.....that's hard!

I'm very curious to see how Top Chef Just Desserts turns out. It seems like they cast people mostly for their personalities, and it sure showed right away. Regarding recipes, I am hoping they all memorized a few standard ones before they got there and are able to adapt them to each challenge. I much prefer to see great results than failed dishes.
Yeah, the personalities are definitely...strong
We'll have to see if they get overly annoying or just make for good drama TV, haha!
I never thought about how no recipes is hard with desserts vs. entrees until they mentioned it. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do.

Thanks guys! I wouldn't say i have a specialty....it would be like me saying I have a favorite dog hehe! I love do love making cakes and cheesecake, probably because I like to eat that.
Has anyone watched Cupcake wars? I love that show and really want to try out for it :-)
