GTG Date
It seems like the general consensus is that Saturday, 10/23 is the best date for most people, so that's what we are going with at this point. Anyone who is pretty sure they are going to be attending, please reply to this post w/ a head count and it will give me an idea what I have to work with. I don't know about you ladies but I'm getting really excited!!

Update: This will be a dinner time event. We could start having people show up around maybe 5pm/5:30 and then start dinner around 6pm. Maybe this will also help those of you w/ day time plans to be able to come later.
Re: GTG Date

The jist of what we decided is that my H and I will host a GTG at our house. We plan on having a pot luck type of deal where everyone will bring some type of dish to share. Indoor and outdoor games (some people have offered to bring some games and we will have corn hole and bocci ball outside) will be set up and hopefully give everyone a chance to make some new friends and break the ice a bit.
Its for us ladies and our H's. We wanted to make it something that everyone could participate in since it seems like quite a few of us ladies have difficulty making good couple friends.
I have a baby shower that day, so DH and I won't be able to make it. Sounds like a great time though.

Maybe we can make this a monthly or bimonthly thing. We could maybe host one although it really depends on the number - 1000 square foot apartment, ya know?
