Well it's hump day, but as I was leaving this morning I told Sadie it was Thursday, so obviously I have my days all mixed up.  This 5 day work week crap is getting old.  Now instead of just missing stuff on Friday, I miss all the calls that come in after I leave at 3:30, but I'm not going to sit at my desk to watch the phone, when there isn't any work to do.

Lots of meetings today, unfortunately most will not be fun, at all.  Ugh.

    Good morning!  I had to come into work early today for the annual fire training.  The part on the different types of extinguishers and the types of fires that each are used for is pretty boring.  The fun part is when they start lighting fires.  The paper fire and wood fire are pretty boring - your standard campfire.  Kerosene is a little more fun.  The real fun starts with the magnesium fires.  They add water to the magnesium because it flares up and creates fireballs and sounds like fireworks.  The best is when they light the magnesium mixed with the machine oils.  It burned holes in the metal burning barrel in under a minute.  So now me and most of the factory get to walk around smelling like campfire and fireworks all day.

    Shelley - Today must be every man's dream at your work.  Homeownership has brought out the true pyro in Drew.

    I have an appointment this morning with the orthodontist for molds and x-rays.  I can't believe I'm really going forward with this!

    11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
    12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
    1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
    2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
    IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
    ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
    Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7 :(
    FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

    I would probably go too.  Thanks!  I'm already nervous about having to get my teeth pulled.  The doc said at my consulation that I would have to get 4 pulled and that I would probably be awake for it.  Eeeeekkkkk!!!!!

    Has anybody had teeth pulled and stayed awake?  What am I in for?

    I had one as a teenager but it was already a little loose.  They will numb you up good with novacaine (or whatever anesthesia they use now).  Then they pull.  You may feel some tugging but it shouldn't hurt thanks to the anesthesia.

    I had to have four teeth pulled before I got my braces. I was awake, and totally freaked out since I was only 11 at the time. I honestly didn't feel a thing. Plenty of novacaine, and just tell them (signal somehow) if you're uncomfortable. It wasn't too bad at all.
