I got up this morning to find the end of the shower curtain all cut up and jagged, it looks completely ridiculous. I asked him WTH was wrong with him and he responded that it was too big for our tub (this hasn't been an issue the last 3 years??) and he needed to trim it so it wouldn't mold as quickly. I just went to empty Riley's tub in there....and he cut the bottom off too!! It barely hangs below the tub line. He keeps telling me it "makes perfect sense" argggggg. Guess I'm adding buy a shower curtain to my list of things to do today. I can't believe cut up the shower curtain was the first thing that came to mind over WASH IT (it's water resistant cloth).
Re: MH is a moron
MEN. That's annoying!
PS - LOVE Riley's pumpkin picture!!!
He couldn't have cut it straight?! That would have annoyed me the most!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love the siggy pic!
back to the original topic. I just spray it down with a mixture of bleach and water. Seems to do the trick.
If it were my husband, I'd take him into the bathroom and ask, "Can you walk me through your concerns about the shower curtain length, and what led you to believe it was too long? Since I wasn't under that same impression, I want to understand better your perspective, and then I'll share mine...."
And then he'll talk about it, I'll show him why he's wrong, and I'll get my way.
By the way, save the shortened ones as tarps in the garage.
Bwaaaahhhhaaaa!!!! You're my hero!

Oh I need to take a picture, it looks like someone tried to rip it with their bare hands. It doesn't reach from shower wall to shower wall anymore either. I told him water from the shower is going to go everywhere, but he doesn't believe me. Guess I'll be flooding the bathroom for a visual later.
That's exactly the kind of thing MH would do -- get frustrated in the moment and do something rash like that, and terribly. He can't draw a straight line if he had a pen attached to a ruler.
And my H would talk for months about how the shower curtain was annoying him and that he should cut it. And when he finally got to cut it after 10 months he'd spend 5 hours with a level, a ruler, and two pairs of scissors to get it juuuuuust right.
