Re: Welcoming Fall
I dunno, I'm cold blooded so I'm going to miss the warm weather. Although there are definitely some things I love about the fall-
The cooler nights, love having the windows open and fresh air at night! And it's still warm during the day so I'm happy.
I love the leaves changing on the trees, it's so pretty!
Dumb question, but down south (Florida, Texas, etc.) do you get the leaves on the trees changing color and falling off the trees?

Not a dumb question! I didn't know til I moved down here, and at least in Houston area, the leaves change and fall off in January. Then they come back quickly. Not really pretty like up north. The winter here is dreary, gray, just blah. Not cold enough to snow, but not warm anough to enjoy the outside (especially after you get used to the heat and are grabbing your hoodie at 80 degrees). The leaves falling sort of signals end of winter and beginning of sunnier, better weather.

I'd like to welcome Fall, but living in SoCal you don't experience weather changes at all. My temperature ranges from HOT, effing hot, sorta hot, or mildly hot. LOL
It's going to be 90 degrees this weekend, warm and sunny. I'm having a bbq when most people are cooking casseroles and roasts.
