How to preserve my wedding dress?
I got married last May and my wedding dress is just hanging in my closet in its plastic bag...I should have taken care of this much sooner, but is there a cheap way to preserve my dress? I am moving next week to South Carolina and I just want to get it there safely and then what should I do and how much should I expect to spend? I don't think I'll wear it again or even expect my daughter to wear it again, but I'd like to keep it. So I'd rather not spend a lot (100 is a lot to me) to keep it from disinigrating in my closet. Thanks for the advice!
Best of luck! Veronica

Re: How to preserve my wedding dress?
I doubt you'll be able to get it professionally cleaned and preserved for under $100. I got my gown done through http://wedclean.com/ and IIRC, their price of $129 was the cheapest I could find.
If you don't want to put much money into it, I bet that if you put it in an opaque garment bag that can be zipped/sealed up, you'll be OK.
