X-Men filming on my island!?!
Ok ladies, any X-Men fans here?
So DH comes home and said that he heard that an advance team was on the island we both work on looking at it as a potential site for the new x-men movie. I passed it off and thought, no big deal, if it happens it happens and it'll be just another film crew to deal with.
Then today, my boss says to me that it really is true and that they are looking at filming at the Club Hotel and the convention center (which just so happens to be where my wedding reception was.) The Convention Center is set for demolition because they are doing a revitalization and so we don't know if the contractors would be ok with it or not, but there is a significant chance that they will be filming here!!
I got kind of excited bc it'd be to fun to say that the CIA-esque building in the movie was where my reception was! Even more cool is the Club Hotel is where DH works and is directly beside my office and the convention center is just around the corner. So either way, I'll be able to celebrity stalk on my lunch break without even leaving the island!
Cross your fingers ladies, this could be way cool!

I've never been an X-Men fan, but anything filmed near me I get excited about. There is usually a film crew near my dad's house filming CSI: Miami and there were a bunch of The OC episodes filmed down the street too. I always get excited when I recognize somewhere.
