Yay for me! (Iong)
On Saturday I went to Target to pick up my BCP prescription, and it wasn't there, they said my prescription had expired. So they sent a refill request to my doctor on Friday, which they rejected. I finally guessed that Target was sending it in my married name, but my doctor still has my maiden name. I called my doctor yesterday, told them about this, and said if they give me one more refill, I will schedule my pap smear asap.
I called Target today and they said that they still hadn't heard back and would resend another refill request with my maiden name. So at this point, I'm on CD 10, which would be 5 days into my new pack of pills. This is my last pack of pills before we TTA. By the time I get my pillls on Friday (the next day I can pick them up), assuming they call back by then, it wouldn't even be worth taking them, because they wouldn't protect us anyway.
So I told Adam this, and for the past few days (since I found out my script wasn't filled at Target) I was hoping that he would say to forget about them since it's my last pack before I go off them. He never did say it. Then today I told him that they wouldn't protect us anyway (since we don't use any other form of contraception) even if I took them.
Then he said, "then don't spend the money on them." I asked if he was okay with it and he said, "yeah, it's not like we do it on a regular basis anyway." Which, ouch, but true - neither of us have a very high sex drive.
So yay! We are now TTA!!! 
I am so excited to be onto the next step of our journey..the next will be TTC early next year! Bad side...we don't get to have sex until after my next period, whenever that may be. 
But YAY for the next phase!!

I definitely know more about my body now that I'm charting, and I think it will make it easier once we're ttc-- but it does become a time suck when you start looking at everyone's cycle galleries! haha

Sorry, I had to laugh. That's us, too. Barrier methods would probably bankrupt some people, but it's a very minor expense for us.

But boo for the low sex drive thing - both of you? And Kelly too? I get VICIOUS when I don't get any. I have been known to cry. Thankfully he has a sex drive that matches mine, but if something is going on that prevents us from fooling around, it really does affect my mood and I start to losemyshit.

Haha I'm the same way, although I've never cried. When we go camping with my family we never get any private time. I'm always cranky and itching to get home by the end of the weekend
This sounds like something my HH would say! lol He'll come home dragging, he's so tired but when I mention skipping a night so he can sleep more he says heck no I'd rather be tired lol
