Restaurant Recs

My boss wants to take the our guys in the field out for a decent steak dinner next month without spending an arm and a leg to show appreciation for the crazy hours they've had to work the past 2 months.

There around 10 guys and my boss.  Looking for a place the guys won't have to dress up for and it won't be super expensive.

Also needs to be in/around Bloomington because of its central location.

Ideas???

TIA

Re: Restaurant Recs

  • One of our fav restaurants is Twin City Grill in Mall of America - the mac and cheese is to die for and they have great steaks, however, as with most steakhouses they're not cheap.  Otherwise, Kincaids is over there which is good, but they're pretty spendy also.

  • Twin City Grill would be more casual since it's in the mall, a lot of people eat there while shopping and aren't dressed up.

    Kincaid's is yummy.

What about Kozy's at the Galleria? It's not terribly expensive, but it is a steak place, so it's not cheap either.

  • Or Casper's Cherokee Sirloin Room? That place isn't fancy or expensive as far as steak places go. It's also not the best food ever, but it's fairly decent for the price. It's in Eagan right off Cedar, so it's not far from Bloomington.

I would go to any of the above mentioned places before Cherokee, we've tried it a couple of times and have been very disappointed.
