Remember that forclosure I tried to talk DH into checking out back in the spring? Well, it got scooped up fast, not surprising since the price was less than half of the estimated value. The people who bought it renovated it, and it's now back on the market. (Of course I had to send the link to DH to show him what could have been.

) Anyway,
here it is in all it's glory. There are a few things I would change, but, overall, not bad.
Matt loves Munkii!!!
Re: Heartbreaking...
Stunning, in my opinion. What was the original asking price?
This wasn't the "psychologically compromised" house, was it?
It's gorgeous! And man, you can get so much more for your $$ in Indy than you can here. We paid close to that amount for our 3 bdrm, 2 ba 1400 sq ft house and had to fix it up too!
So when are you going to buy Munkii?
Not for another year, at least. We decided to move forward and re-sign our townhouse lease.
Housing in Indy metro is really wonky. Definitely more bang for your buck in that neighborhood (which is ok, but not prime). The same house/layout in my current city (which is only about 10 minutes from that neighborhood) would run 3 or 4 times that--but since it's in Indy and not in the best school district, the price is fabulous. That said, we'll probably have to buy in Indy because I don't have millions in pocket change.
Wow. I won't even show you what you can get for $350,000 around here! There are some single family homes, but NOTHING like that...and not usually in very desirable neighborhoods.
Maybe showing DH will motivate him to get on it next time something that that shows up, especially with these epically low interest rates.

Im in love with the kitchen and master bath. Our kitchen and master bath our small. When we bought our house we paid 120k for it and is 1700 sq ft, but if we would of waited we could of got it for under 100k.
Wow, that is amazing!
You'll find something that is perfect for you when the time is right though.
