Okay, so in less than a month I'll be there with Libby in tow...I am hoping that some of you ladies may be able to help me with a few baby items...if I could borrow from you or if you know someone, for the 10 days we're there (or even 7-8 days would be awesome) that would be SO helpful. I eally would like to avoid being a pack mule for this trip...or spending a ton of $$$ shipping things to/fro....
What I need:
-- Stroller (preferably that "sits up" but can also recline as Libby HATES to be reclined when she's awake and stolling, but it's nice to have the option when she konks out). If it has a sun/rain shade, all the better.
--Picnic blanket/quilt (preferably the kind that has a waterproof backing, but if not, that's fine)
--Baby toys, books, etc. for age 6-12 months...we'll bring some smaller, hand held items, but if I could get my hands on at least one bigger toy that she could climb on/in or pull up on/walk that would be awesome since she's very into that right now.
We'll be staying at a major downtown hotel from Oct. 14-24 and ideally would have these items for our use from Oct 15-23. We will take the best care of them (promise) and if anything unfortunate should happen to them would be financially responsible to replace it. I'll have limited access to a car but could try to arrange to pick-up/drop-off these items, if need be.
Also, if anyone has an electric hot pot or hot plate with a pot they'd be willing to lend, I'll take it. I want to be able to cook up simple things for Libby (hardboiled eggs, oatmeal, steamed veggies and fruit, etc.)...rather than rely upon processed/canned/jarred or restaurant food for the entire time we're there.
If you're willing and able to help me with this, please PM me or email me at loridecter [at] yahoo [dot] com. TIA!
Re: Seattle girls...need your assistance, please!
Sent you an email!
You'll be here our anniversary weekend! This might be the first anniversary that we're not in HI. If we are here (80% likely), I will help.
Will you update here on what you have and what you still need?
I have an awesome barely used baby jogger. Is that too big, hard to maneuver for your purposes? I'm pretty sure we saved a rubbermaid full of baby books and toys, too. I would be happy to bring everything to you.
