Odd request- deli meat?

I need to get some sliced roast beef (for sandwiches) for a family get together. My mom loves it medium-rare and definitely actual roast beef (not the pressed garbage). Anyone have any suggestions on where I could find some? Im on the far east side. TIA!!!

Boars Head isn't bad. My dad makes his own but cooks it to well done b/c that's what his customers like-and besides, he's pretty far west! I'd look for a butcher or Italian deli. If they don't make their own they should have a high quality manufactured product. Maybe Findley Market? There's a butcher on 42 in West Chester & another one on 747 in West Chester. When in doubt I always check Jungle Jim's. They seem to have everything.

My husband likes Boars Head roast beef and I get it at Kroger. It is definitely medium-rare!

We get Boars Head Londonport Roast beef- its usually pretty rare and very good. Findlay Market has some as well at Krauses that they make themselves, but it would take a trip to get it.

Findlay Market would be my first place, too, but on the east side you could also do Lehr's in Milford. They have some pretty good stuff.

I would call Lehr's meats in Old Milford. They might have it- if not, I am sure they can refer you to someone locally. I also know that there was a butch in Madeira while I was growing up- I am assuming they are still there.
