in your kitchen tonight?
I know there's a What's Cooking board on here but I'd much rather chat with you ladies! This week I'm all about trying new recipes! We had Cajun Chicken Pasta last night which turned out pretty good and tonight we were just suppose to be grilling hamburgers but it's been pouring rain all day so that's out. So instead I pulled out this recipe which I bookmarked like yesterday and happened to have everything on hand so now I'm waiting to see how they turn out!
Re: What's Cooking....
We're having chicken parmesan - it's a staple in our home
Cajun Chicken Pasta sounds soo good ... I think I drooled a little when I read that
The recipe is here if you are interested. I really liked that the sauce was really light feeling instead of heavy like most pasta dishes! Plus it's a 'for 2' recipe so there wasn't a ton of leftovers!
well, I'll keep this going today too, since I don't normally get on at night.
last night I made home-made spaghetti sauce with ground turkey and whole wheat noodles (my attempt at eating healthy
). We had some italian herb bread left over from last weekend too - I love my breadmaker!
tonight DH is cooking chinese sausage and long bean (one of my favorite chinese dishes!)
Haha! We love SIL's jalapeno chicken recipe and we made it the other night! Last night we had spicy tortellini in garlic and oil and sauteed spinach. Tonight I'm alone for dinner, so I'll probably just eat whatever we have.
my all time fav right now is buffalo chicken dip! Its so easy and so good!
I'm a little late too, but I try to plan out what we'll eat for the week.
This week we had:
Monday: Crock pot minestrone soup (which was the best ever...let me know if you ladies want the recipe)
Tuesday: Honey mustard chicken with veggies
Wednesday: Beef stir fry (which was a disaster bc the rice took 45 mins to cook and still wasn't completely done. I hate cooking rice!!)
Tonight: DH make turkey meatballs and we had turkey meatball subs which were delicious ~!!
