Every time we go to M's therapist, she keeps us waiting past our appointment time. It's usually 5 or 10 minutes, but today the session seriously started 15 minutes late. I wouldn't mind if she let us go over, but she always cuts us off at 50 minutes from our scheduled start time. So we never get a full session and today's was ridiculously short.
I've been giving her the benefit of the doubt, but now I feel we are seriously getting screwed. I feel I have to say something, but don't want to ruin the relationship, because she is helping with M. How would you approach this to get the point across without upsetting the mojo?

"Because I really feel that these sessions are helping M, I would really appreciate if we could be sure we have the full 50 minutes. Could we please either start on time or continue for the full 50 minutes when we start late?"
or
When she tries to stop: "Oh, actually, we didn't start until 4:15 today so we still have 15 minutes left." Smile.
Dit-Toe. the second one is way more fun than the first.

I would go with suggestion one fallin said, although my inner smartass likes number 2.
mine does the late thing too but always extends the time in the end to make up. i would think that, especially with the need for translation, that the full time is very important.
Absolutely go with Fallin's suggestion. You pay for 50 minutes, you should get 50 minutes.
I would definitely say something. it's a service like any other. Just say, I've been noticing that we're starting late but still ending at the regular time. I thought we're supposed to be having 50 minute sessions. Am I incorrect? Because I'm pretty sure we're paying for a full session.
Hopefully she'll be embarassed enough to just not do it again.
