I've been trying to throw all my extra time into my job search lately, so I've been MIA (and temporarily deleted my facebook). I'm sick of being such a Debbie Downer because my job is SUCKING THE SOUL OUT OF ME. What's been happening with everyone around here? I missed you guys!

My only update is job-related - SHOCKING!
I had a 3.5 hour second interview a week ago today for that job I really REALLY want, was told they "should know more" by Monday. Monday and Tuesday came and went with no call or email. I emailed the hiring manager at 8:30am today and still haven't gotten a response. It's not looking so good.
Oh! And my friend/BM's wedding was Saturday (the one that wouldn't allow her SIL's 3 week old baby to come to the wedding, if you remember) - it went really well and was SO FUN! Fortunately for her, there were definitely no babies in attendance.

Good luck with your job search! it's so frustrating to have to wait for responses.
I'm currently laying on my parent's couch because I'm sick. Well, we made plans to have dinner with them, and I wasn't going to give it up because I didn't feel well..plus they have TV. I'm taking tmrw off from work, so I'm looking forward to that.
I'm also waiting for a phone call for an interview about adopting a puppy! DH and I have been searching high and low, and we found a beautiful 6 month old whippet mix. I just want to be a puppy parent!

Thanks for the encouragement. Tom Petty was right - the waiting IS the hardest part! Sorry you're not feeling well...but I have my fingers crossed for your puppy interview! Good luck!

Sometimes I think the world would be better off with no Facebook... but it's so addictive.
Nothing new here. Same old same old. Up work home sleep, up work home sleep; hubs comes back to me in a week and a half though, I'm excited for an embarrassing tear-y reunion at the airport, and to see how Mittens reacts when she sees her "daddy" for the first time in seven weeks.

I have a love/hate relationship with fb. I love that I can keep up with friends/family much better than before, but I hate the time suck that it is. I also hate how many stupid people think others care what they're eating for dinner/watching on TV/doing right this second/etc.
I was wondering when you and your H would reunite! A week and a half is awesome - Wisconsin is next, right? When do you guys move?

Yep, Wisconsin next! We don't know for sure when we're moving but probably around the first of December. Who doesn't love a move right in the middle of winter and the holidays, right? Should be fun and not at all stressful.
