Twisted Root Burger Co.
Have any of y'all been to the Twisted Root Burger Co? My hubby and I were thinking about going Saturday, to the one near SMU.

I didn't know Angry Dog and Twisted Root were owned by the same people! I LOVE Angry Dog!
DH and I have only been to Twisted Root a few times. I think they put celery salt in their batter for things they fry (ie: fried pickles, onion rings) and DH has a serious dislike of anything celery, lol. But I thought it was great. I can't remember what I tried, but I remember enjoying it every time we'd been.

I use to work near the downtown area and me and my co-workers would go to Angry Dog all the time. It was so good and I miss going there.

This is different than what you asked for, but still quite healthy. Buffalo is usually lower in fat and calories and higher in protein and iron than beef and even chicken (including chicken breast.) Twisted Root serves buffalo burgers. In fact, that's my favorite of theirs. I'd bet it's hormone free as they're picky like that, but you can e-mail them and ask.
