I got the results of my itchy feet biopsy today. It's nothing major, just localized eczema. Oh joy! The Dermatology PA said that I probably stepped in/on/around a plant I was allergic to while wearing flip flops, which explains why it's on both feet. My body probably over reacted, which turned from contact dermatitis to a case of eczema. The pathologist said it was in the healing stage.
So, the good news is I don't have to go back and pay another $40 copay to learn the results. I will continue to do what I've been doing (2x/day steroid cream) and just itch occasionally til it clears up.
I can handle taking the stitches out myself next week. I used to do it all the time to my horses.....(and cows in college...)

Oh good! So glad to hear it's nothing to really worry about.
Do you have any guess what plant it was? At least fall is coming and it'll soon be too cold for flip-flops.
I have no clue what it could have been. I know it wasn't poison ivy, though.
