We just got married on Friday and used Colleen's Cakes in Frisco.
Two thumbs up - great cake and the best price we found.
We used Elena's Cakes at Greenville Ave and 75. Delicious and prices on the high side of reasonable.
Our 2nd choice was Panini's (it's on Preston, I think, but further up from 635). very reasonable and tasty.

It's the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Seriously. I still get cakes frequently from her.
She's on Hillcrest, just north of Mockingbird across from SMU.
I went to "The Cake Guys" in Cedar Hill. The cake was great and was so good. Here is their website:
