We're dog sitting for the ILs and he stinks and now does our house. I want to take him somewhere to get him a bath and a dry, nothing else. Anyone have any recs in Toledo?
Re: pet bathers
We like A Doggy Do. (holland sylvania and hill) Lydia does our dog. I want to say it's $30-ish when we get him cut and washed and stuff but I don't know how much for just a wash.
I know that the dog daycare we take him to does baths but I've never been charged for his baths. We take him to Bark Ave. on Bancroft (near talmadge). On Monday's if you get there before 9 there is a free bath and on Saturdays there is a free bath too. You should take him there...oh wait you have to sign release and stuff....hrmmm
Rover Come Over (in monclova) has dog washes you can use. I think they are $10, and self serve. But they are AWESOME cause they are same height and they have shampoo built into the hose. Baths go really quick!! We had to use it a few times when Rowie got REALLY dirty at daycare and they had already washed him twice! haha
Honestly, the eaisest thing might be to just grab some doggy shampoo at target or what not and throw him into the tub. Rowie tolerates baths but he knows he gets lots of treats.
Ditto Rover Come Over.
And yeah, just grabbing some $4 dog shampoo from the pet store and taking care of it yourself in a tub would probably be much easier. We give Piper lots of treats in the tub, too.
