What's everyone doing this weekend?
Tonight after work, I have to go to Babies R Us to get a baby shower gift for my brother's wife. Then we're going home to cut the grass, do laundry, and pack up for the weekend. Saturday morning, we have to drop Brody off at the vet's office to board him for the rest of the weekend and for him to get his shots and groomed. Then we're driving to GA to go spend the night at Adam's brother's house so he can help his brother with some house repairs. Sunday morning we then have to drive to Atlanta so I can go to my brother's wife's baby shower. I'm super excited because I get to see all of the cute little baby stuff. Then it's the 3-4 hour drive back home!
Re: Weekend plans?
Work. We may try to go to a football game tonight, but we're undecided about that. Matt and I both work tomorrow, and after that, we're going up to MIL's (yayyyy...) because BIL & his wife are up from VA or a couple of days. Then we'll go to the early service at church on Sunday morning and I'll work 1-9 Sunday. Matt gets to go to the church lunch for new people.
So kind of a yucky weekend here.
I just dropped HH and his good friend off on a backpacking camping expedition this weekend so the dogs and I have the house to ourselves.
I plan on doing a lot of nothing...and I am very excited about it!
Today is all about cleaning and I'm going to visit a potential school this afternoon.
I have to find time to go buy DH some khakis and a watch for next week (he's so busy I think I should just do it for him).
Saturday afternoon we have some friends coming to stay until Monday. I'll also have to find time to make and ice a cake for my Wilton class on Sunday.
Sunday I have my Wilton class in the morning.
Well... today I'm curled up on the couch with a wicked sinus infection that has been creeping up on me for the last week. But our new dining room table is getting delivered today and I have to get to work on a cake for a 3 year old (Minnie Mouse w/ hot pink and zebra).
Tomorrow I am meeting my two best friends from highschool for brunch at Breadwinner's (this AMAZING place in Dallas). One was in the wedding but the other lives in Utah and I have missed her the last three times she's been here (all in 4 months). Then I have to deliver the cake I mentioned.
I don't know what I'm doing Sunday. I think Kevin might be working which means a whole lot of sittin around at home for me. Maybe a little house cleaning.
Tonight: No idea
Tomorrow: Going to see Easy A with my bestie, besides that, no idea
Sunday: No idea!
lol I'm soooo exciting
Tonight: gym, dinner and possibly a movie. Or possibly just vegging.
Tomorrow: appt with a personal trainer (boo), then we really need to go shopping. We haven't been to Costco in a while, (read...a few days, ha), I also really want to get some photos developed, buy some things for the house, etc
Sunday: we're heading out of town to spend the day at our friend's cottage before they close it for the winter.
Tonight: Toby Keith concert with my mom and DH
Rest of the weekend I don't think we have any other set plans. I will probably make bread one day. Who knows. DH is sick, he actually came home early from work today, so I don't think he will be up for much. Poor guy, I am dragging him to this concert tonight.
Tonight: I went shopping for boots/fall clothes. Bought a few pairs of boots (to bring home and try on with dresses/skinny jeans and keep the pair I like) a cute sweater, necklace, earrings.
Tomorrow: I'm going to this "Smart Shopper" workshop with my mom in the a.m. I'm really excited b/c I always see people with these awesome organized coupon binders (with divider tabs and clear plastic baseball card inserts) at the grocery store, and the lady doing the workshop sells them! Apparently she has lots of great ideas about how to save money, use coupons and sales to your advantage, cook cheap meals, etc.
Tomorrow Night: Babysitting. As usual.
Sunday: DH works in the day but we're finally having a real date night and hopefully watching "Smart People", which we've had from Netflix for about 3 weeks now and haven't watched yet.
