Happy Friday ladies! Is anyone doing anything good this weekend?
I think our weekend is going to be pretty low-key. Tonight we're making veggie pizza, enjoying some pumpkin beer, and catching up on all the new TV shows in our DVR.
Saturday morning I might try a Bikram yoga class. I bought a Groupon for one a while ago and I have 3 classes to go to before it expires. Then going down to see the ILs and having dinner with them.
Sunday I'd like to stop by the farmers' market, do some baking, and maybe decorate a bit more for fall. Hope everyone has a good one!
Re: Weekend plans?
Friday - Laundry, reading/homework.
Saturday - Working, Dinner w/ H & some pretty awesome friends.
Sunday - Sleeping in, homework, cleaning, relaxing w/ H.
I know I have to do some cleaning and major homework so I have a feeling that is going to end up taking a good chunk of my weekend. Oh well; at least the temps are finally getting to be more fall like starting Saturday!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Tonight - Girls' night out with Mom. I think we'll be going out to dinner and/or geting pedicures.
Tomorrow - I will also be going to a bikram yoga class Saturday morning! This is my 13th day of my 30-day challenge. Then I think DH and I are going to a discount furniture place to see about getting him a new computer desk.
No plans for Sunday. Sleeping in and cleaning.

Tonight we're finishing watching "The Princess and the Frog," which recently became a watch instant on netflix. My nieces didn't like it when they saw it, and I can see why. We were about halfway through the movie before a loveable character (like a talking animal) showed up. I like the music, but I can see how they're not quite ready for it.
Tomorrow, DH and I are driving up to Milwaukee for my niece's 10th birthday. She LOVES horses, so I asked the Book Club board for horse book recommendations. I ended up getting her Black Stallion, Meet Felicity, the first book the Thoroughbred series, and Misty of Chincoteague .... (I think I spelled that right....). All of these are the first in a series of books, so if she likes any (or all) we have Christmas ideas lined up.
Sunday, we're trying out a church closer to home, and watching some football.
Tonight will be filled with shop work.
Saturday, we'll be attending high tea at a local tea house. Maybe we'll go see Wall Street as well.
Sunday will involve cleaning, homework, and a Colts game.
Just got work that we're closing somewhere between next Thursday, and the following Tuesday, so I'm suddenly a very busy girl. Today is my Saturday, so I took the morning OFF from everything, and splurged on a new pair of cycling shoes (MTB style with inselt cleats- good for commuting and errands) (and WAY cute!) , p/u beer and Red Vines for a quiet evening at home (finally).
Next is picking up the car from the shop, and tomorrow will be packing anf organizing.
I honestly can't imagine what that house key will feel like in my hand! It's been 130 days since the seller accepted our offer.
It's a quiet weekend here.
Today MH works for a few hours so I'll have some football on the television. I have to make two kid birthday cards and wrap presents. I think when the hubby gets home from work we may go into the next town to look at the Halloween store to see if there is anything we can't live without for decorations.
Tomorrow we might go to church it just depends on how getting up in the morning goes. We do have a birthday party in the afternoon and we'll probably stay and watch the Colts game.
If I could drop everything off my list I would. I'm just kind of in a mood where I want to do nothing for a few days.
I've been told to sit in bed and get better by my hubby who has been waiting on my every need. :-P Whatever I've got is certainly odd. Started out as a head cold, felt like flu a little bit, but then settled firmly in my chest. Today, I sound like a froggie. Ribbit!
I decided for sure to stay home from the canoe trip this weekend so as to not get my sister and the "sea monkey" as she calls her baby sick (another thing that reminds me of the 80's - you used to be able to mail order sea monkeys from magazines!). That'd be just miserable. My other sister stopped by yesterday and made a housecall and brought me hot cocoa which was super sweet. I think she just wanted to make sure I didn't have the flu though. :-P Dang sneeky doctors.
Otherwise, more just laying low for me. If I feel well enough, I might venture out tomorrow to hit the farmer's market since our stash of fresh produce is seriously sad.
