Seriously... SERIOUSLY?!

I can NOT be sick already!!! I know my kiddos are little, and they're all sneezy and wiping their snot on me and coughing in my mouth... but I can't be sick already!

I'm hoping I'm just having a really, really bad allergy day-- but I used all the classroom tissues! I felt bad for my kids, they kept going for the tissues where I usually keep them and then someone would go, "Mrs. C has them all!" haha

Blech.

Re: Seriously... SERIOUSLY?!

  • Hahaha I'm not suprised, my bestie is a 1st grade teacher and she got sick like the second week of school! Those kids are germy!

  • Oh no!!! Feel better soon! DH is sick too but he's definitely never around kids so I don't know where he picked it up.

  • Yep....I thought it was allergies (and I think it really was -- kind of a combo deal) but I already got my "back to school" funk.  It was the 2nd week I believe.  Bleh.  A kid coughed RIGHT ON MY HAND today as I was passing out papers.  Geez louise people.

  • That sucks!  I'm glad I'm not a teacher.  I'm a bit of a germaphobe.  (Did I spell that right?)

  • These college kids wander around perpetually sick (lack of sleep, lack of adequate clothing in winter, a poor diet, shared living quarters, stress, and shared dining facilities will do that). I have to use all of the keyboards and stuff on the public computers. I am OBSESSED with my Germ-X and my Lysol wipes. Literally every time I sit back down at my desk from September to April, the first thing I do is sanitize my hands. I usually wipe down my keyboard and phones two or three times a day.
  • Hang in there!  Just think, if it really isn't allergies and you're sick, then you'll get it out of the way and build up some antibodies for the rest of the year.  Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

When my HH says his allergies are bothering him, I know that means he's getting a cold...ugh! I really hope it was allergies for you.

  • I totally got sick the first week of school. Nasty little kids
  • i hope you are feeling better! I always get sick this time of year, so i'm just waiting! I've had a scratchy throat on and off for over a week.  Alot of girls at work are sick too! YUCK!  Its probably those buggy kids bringing home their germs to their moms! LOL
