So I'm totally watching Say Yest to the Dress right now, and I still love it just as much as I did before the wedding! I thought that my obsession with it would be over after the wedding, but I still LOVE it. However, I do NOT envy those girls still searching for their dress (and their crazy tag-a-longs that they bring to their appointments).
Re: Say Yes to the Dress
I agree with that! I have always loved that show and I actually cry a lot more now when I watch it, maybe because I know how special finding the dress is.
But I think some of the people those girls bring are nut-so!!! My mother and sis came along and were great. Some of those girls on TV bring their mother, sisters, cousins, grandma, and BFFs. Way too much!
The TV show makes me mad sometimes though because I hate when the bride loves loves loves a dress, but her family says it's ugly and she can't buy it. It hurts because when you know it's the dress, you know!
Do the creep.
my bio - updated with pics!!
I still love those shows too, and even miss The Knot tv. But I am a wedding freak, and better to be a married wedding freak than a single one.
My DH also came to my dress appointments. My Mother would freak if she knew that...but being so far away from my family, there was no-one else to take!
This is hilarious and so true. I love weddings and now I feel like I have an 'insider' view to all the wedding shows.
I also still find myself watching Bridezilla
My husband thinks I'm crazy but it is just hilarious to me. Since I did have one bridezilla moment while planning my wedding (of course not nearly as bad as some of these brides) I find myself still watching. I will admit I watched the show even before I got engaged with my kids who always said mom if you ever get married and act like these woman we'd have to hurt you LOL!!!!
I just find the show very entertaining. I've only watched Say yes to the dress a few times.
