Why do people open a thread that is titled AW Weekend.. and then not post? It's not like you open it and get a surprise of what's inside. You know what's in there so why bother? LOL.

i like to hear about good things happening in others' lives. and it IS different every week so i really don't know what i'm gonna read.
i never have anything to AW anymore, but i like to hear/read other things that people are happy about and congratulate them when my internet doesn't eat responses. (sidenote: i actually type up 2-3X the amount of responses you see posted, but my internet is so horrible that it "times out" and eats EVERYTHING i do about 50% of the time lol)

I like to stalk and see if anyone else did anything exciting over the course of the week.
I often don't post an AW because I doubt anyone would care that, "OMG! The vacuum cleaner sucked up, like, ALL the dog hair! And the Snuggle left my clothes smelling so fresh!" Because that's about all the excitement in my life right now

Fuzzy slippers are awesome. My feet stay cold and any slipper that feels warm and fuzzy makes my day.

I know exactly what you mean. We are really cheap and we piggy back off of our apt wireless router. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it sucks like when it times out in the middle of a post, and sometimes it plain doesn't work.
